Medicare is a type of health care insurance developed by the government for seniors, along with individuals with specific disabilities and illnesses. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only real catch is, the person must acquire treatment from your alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to commence rehab, they may also have to visit their primary care physician who must declare that rehab services are medically necessary, and the physician will typically approve which kind of treatment the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual should be in a hospital for issue, as well as the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital.
