Self pay is often times the only option for individuals who need rehab inside a drug and alcohol treatment center for drug use but don't have any health care insurance. It isn't uncommon for someone dependent on alcohol or drugs not to have private health insurance, as it can be difficult to keep a drug or alcohol habit going while also keeping employment. Thankfully, many drug rehabilitation centers will work with folks whose only option is to self pay to make it more achievable to participate in a good drug and alcohol rehab facility.
