Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide rehabilitation to address both mental health and addiction issues simultaneously. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral treatment that helps them develop more efficient coping mechanisms so that they are able to better deal with life situations better once they leave dual diagnosis rehab instead of turning to drugs and alcohol as a possible solution.
