Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide rehab to handle both addiction and mental health issues simultaneously. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral treatment that helps them develop more efficient coping mechanisms so that they are able to better handle life circumstances better if they depart dual diagnosis rehab instead of returning to drugs and alcohol as an inferior option.
