Medicare is a type of medical health insurance developed by the U.S. government for seniors, as well as individuals with specific disabilities and illnesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The only exception is, the individual must acquire treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to commence rehabilitation, they will also have to see their primary care physician who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve which kind of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual needs to be hospitalized because of their issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
