Treatment counselors in a LGBT rehab can help clients repair relationships with their family members, in case their loved ones disagree with their sexual preference as is usually the case. This situation is definitely a common trigger for abusing drugs, and is an example of a thing that can be handled in rehab. LGBT clients often simply want to be accepted in their lives, and rehab will help them accept themselves and build confidence in order to lead a healthy life without any drugs and alcohol.
