Medicare is a kind of medical insurance developed by the federal government for seniors, along with people with certain disabilities and sicknesses. If a person that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The one exception is, the person must receive treatment from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual needs to be in a hospital for his or her problem, and also the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
