Treatment for adolescent and teen drug and alcohol abuse is available for youth who would otherwise destroy their future as a result of substance abuse. Even though their drug abuse problem is very advanced, and their parents have lost all hope that there's anything which can be done about it, something can be done about it if steps are taken promptly to deal with the situation. It is not wise to let adolescent or teen drug abuse problem advance until the teen is at "rock bottom". The sooner parents as well as other family members come into the picture, the better.
