If an inpatient center could be the preferred treatment choice, TRICARE will cover a three week period or one inpatient stay in that facility per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are certain limits regarding how much time a TRICARE member can stay in the inpatient program that accepts TRICARE, and there is typically a 30-45 day window that's covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment which is often very useful, as it can certainly help include loved ones in the healing and recovery process.
