Medicaid is a type of medical insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government provided insurance. Whether or not an individual is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only determined by their earnings however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify just because they make an acceptable income. There are many drug treatment centers which accept Medicaid, but different states have distinct rules for what kinds of rehabilitation are covered. Some states only include outpatient rehabilitation services as an example while other states cover more extensive rehab say for example a residential stay in long-term alcohol and drug rehabilitation center. If somebody is involved with substance abuse and needs help, they can use their Medicaid insurance coverage to get this help. If they do not have Medicaid and in addition don't have enough cash or any other form of medical insurance to pay for rehabilitation, they can find out if they qualify for Medicaid and then sign up for an alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility that's approved in their state.
