Medicare is a form of health insurance developed by the government for senior citizens, and also people who have certain disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only real catch is, the individual will need to receive treatment from your alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to begin rehab, they may also have to see their primary care physician who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual has to be in a hospital for issue, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
