Medicare is a form of health care insurance designed by the government for senior citizens, along with those that have specific disabilities and diseases. If an individual that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The one catch is, the individual will need to acquire treatment from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start treatment, they may also have to visit their primary care physician who must state that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve which kind of treatment the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual should be in a hospital for problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
