Medicare is a type of medical insurance developed by the U.S. government for senior citizens, along with people with specific disabilities and illnesses. If someone that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the individual will need to obtain treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin rehabilitation, they will also have to see their medical doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically essential, and the doctor will generally approve what sort of treatment the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program in the event that the individual needs to be in a hospital for problem, as well as the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
