Dual diagnosis rehabs are facilities which provide rehab to address both addiction and mental health issues simultaneously. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral treatment that helps them develop more effective coping mechanisms so they are better able to deal with life situations more effectively when they leave dual diagnosis rehab instead of returning to alcohol and drugs as a possible option.
