Medicaid is a form of health care insurance available for those who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government provided insurance coverage. There are several drug and alcohol rehab facilities which accept Medicaid, but different states have distinct guidelines for what forms of rehabilitation are covered. Certain states only include outpatient rehab services for example while other states cover more intensive treatment such as a residential stay in long-term drug rehabilitation facility. If somebody is involved in substance abuse and desires help, they could use their Medicaid insurance coverage to get this treatment. If they don't have Medicaid and also don't have the money or another form of health care insurance to pay for rehab, they can check if they qualify for Medicaid and then enroll in a drug rehab center that's approved inside their state.
