Medicare is a form of medical health insurance developed by the government for seniors, and also people who have specific disabilities and diseases. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The one catch is, the individual must acquire treatment from your drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to commence rehabilitation, they may also have to see their physician who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the doctor will generally approve which kind of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment providers. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual must be hospitalized for their problem, as well as the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
