Medicare is a type of medical health insurance designed by the government for senior citizens, along with individuals with specific disabilities and sicknesses. When someone that has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The only exception is, the person will have to obtain treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehabilitation, they may also have to visit their medical doctor who must state that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve what type of treatment the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehabilitation providers. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual needs to be in a hospital for problem, and also the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation inside a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
