Medicare is a form of medical insurance created by the government for older persons, and also people with certain disabilities and diseases. If someone that has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only real catch is, the person will have to obtain treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehabilitation, they can also get to visit their medical doctor who must state that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve what type of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab services. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual needs to be hospitalized for their issue, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they've got to self pay.
