Medicaid is a form of health insurance available for those who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government provided insurance coverage. Whether or not a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon income however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify because they earn an acceptable income. For example, people who have many dependents may be eligible for Medicaid even if they earn what would be described as a fair income.
