Medicare is a type of health insurance designed by the U.S. government for seniors, as well as those that have specific disabilities and illnesses. When someone that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The one exception is, the person will need to obtain treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to commence rehab, they may also have to visit their medical doctor who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the doctor will generally approve which kind of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual has to be in a hospital for problem, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
