Medicare is a form of medical health insurance developed by the federal government for senior citizens, along with those that have certain disabilities and sicknesses. If someone who has Medicare needs rehab for instances of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The only exception is, the individual will need to receive treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence rehab, they can also get to visit their physician who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what type of treatment the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab providers. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual has to be hospitalized for issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they'll have to self pay.
