TRICARE is health insurance that is offered to individuals in the armed forces of the United States. If an inpatient center will be the preferred rehabilitation choice, TRICARE will cover twenty-one days or one inpatient stay in that center per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are specific limits as to the length of time a TRICARE member can stay in an inpatient facility that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30 to 45 day window which is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment which may be very useful, as it can certainly help include family members in the healing and process of recovery.
