Medicaid is a type of health care insurance available for individuals who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government funded insurance. Whether or not someone qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon their earnings however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify just because they make a fair income.
