Medicare is a form of medical health insurance designed by the government for seniors, along with people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehab for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The only real exception is, the individual will have to obtain treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start rehab, they will also have to visit their doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically essential, and the doctor will generally approve which kind of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehabilitation solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual needs to be in a hospital for problem, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
