Medicare is a type of medical health insurance developed by the government for seniors, along with those that have specific disabilities and sicknesses. If a person who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the individual will need to receive treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to begin rehabilitation, they can also get to visit their doctor who must state that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will typically approve what type of rehab the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual must be in a hospital for their issue, along with the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
