Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which deliver treatment to handle both mental health and addiction concerns concurrently. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral treatment which helps them develop more efficient coping methods so they are able to better handle life situations better after they depart dual diagnosis rehab as opposed to returning to alcohol and drugs as an inferior option.
