Medicare is a type of health insurance developed by the federal government for older folks, as well as individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The one exception is, the individual will have to obtain treatment coming from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to begin treatment, they can also get to see their doctor who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve which kind of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab services. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual has to be in a hospital for issue, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
