A group home is ordinarily for troubled adolescents, but there are also group homes for individuals with a mental health disorder or who are encountering behavioral difficulties for example. As an alternative to sending individuals who are being affected by drug abusedrug use or recovering from substance abuse to an orphanage, asylum or another similar place, a group home may help provide an appropriate environment to help sustain stability inside their lives and still have counsel and support at their fingertips 24/7. People who reside in the group home could be getting involved in rehab services while in residence, or may be taking steps to get their life set up outside the group home so that they can at one point live on their own outside of the group home.
