Medicaid is a kind of health care insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government funded insurance coverage. Whether someone qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify because they earn an acceptable income. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have the money or some other form of health insurance to cover rehab, they could see if they qualify for Medicaid and then sign up for a drug treatment program that is approved within their state.
