Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide treatment to handle both addiction and mental health concerns simultaneously. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral treatment which will help them develop more efficient coping mechanisms so that they are better able to deal with life circumstances more proficiently after they depart dual diagnosis rehab as opposed to turning to alcohol and drugs as an inferior solution.
