Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide rehab to address both mental health and addiction issues simultaneously. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral rehab which helps them develop more efficient coping mechanisms so that they are better able to deal with life circumstances more proficiently when they leave dual diagnosis rehab as opposed to turning to drugs and alcohol as an inferior answer.
