Medicare is a kind of medical insurance developed by the federal government for senior citizens, along with people with certain disabilities and diseases. When someone that has Medicare needs rehab for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only exception is, the person will need to receive treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence treatment, they may also have to visit their primary care physician who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will typically approve what sort of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment providers. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual needs to be in a hospital for problem, and the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they'll have to self pay.
