Medicaid is a type of health insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government funded insurance coverage. Whether or not a person is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon income however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify just because they make a reasonable income. If someone is involved with drug use and desires help, they can use their Medicaid insurance coverage to get this treatment. If they don't have Medicaid and in addition don't have the funds or another type of medical insurance to cover rehabilitation, they can find out if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then sign up for a drug rehab program that's approved inside their state.
