Medicare is a form of medical insurance created by the government for seniors, and also people with specific disabilities and sicknesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The only exception is, the person will need to acquire treatment from the alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to commence treatment, they will also have to see their doctor who must state that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve what type of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment providers. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual should be in a hospital for issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they'll have to self pay.
