Medicare is a sort of medical health insurance designed by the federal government for older folks, in addition to those that have certain disabilities and sicknesses. When someone who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The one catch is, the individual will have to acquire treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin rehab, they will also have to visit their physician who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve what type of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehabilitation providers. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual needs to be in a hospital for their issue, and the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
