TRICARE is health insurance that's offered to members of the military of the United States. If an inpatient program could be the preferred rehabilitation option, TRICARE covers a three week period or one inpatient stay in that program per benefit period which is every 12 months. There are certain limits about just how long a TRICARE member can remain in an inpatient program that accepts TRICARE, and there is typically a 30-45 day window that is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment which may be very beneficial, as it can help include family members in the healing and process of recovery.
