Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide treatment to address both addiction and mental health concerns simultaneously. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral treatment which helps them develop more effective coping methods so that they are able to better handle life circumstances more proficiently if they leave dual diagnosis rehab instead of returning to drugs as an inferior answer.
