Medicare is a type of medical health insurance designed by the U.S. government for older persons, along with those that have specific disabilities and diseases. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The one exception is, the person will need to acquire treatment from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to start rehab, they may also have to see their primary care physician who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve what sort of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual has to be in a hospital for problem, as well as the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
