Medicare is a type of medical health insurance developed by the government for older folks, as well as those that have certain disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the individual must obtain treatment from the alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start treatment, they may also have to visit their physician who must state that rehabilitation services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what type of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment solutions. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program in the event that the individual needs to be in a hospital for their problem, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they will have to self pay.
