Treatment counselors in a LGBT rehab will help clients fix relationships with their family, in the case their loved ones disagree with their sexual choice as is generally the case. This situation is an extremely common trigger for drug use, and is also an illustration of something which would be handled in rehabilitation. LGBT clients often simply want to be accepted within their lives, and rehab will help them accept themselves and produce confidence to enable them to lead a wholesome life free of drugs and alcohol.
