Rehab counselors in a LGBT rehab will help clients fix relationships with their family members, in the event that their family disagree with their sexual choice as is generally the case. This situation is an extremely common trigger for drug abuse, and is a good example of something which can be resolved in treatment. LGBT clients often only want to be accepted within their lives, and rehabilitation will help them accept themselves and create confidence in order to lead a wholesome life free from drugs and alcohol.
