Medicare is a type of medical insurance designed by the federal government for seniors, along with people with specific disabilities and diseases. If a person that has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The only catch is, the person will need to acquire treatment coming from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to begin rehab, they can also get to visit their physician who must state that treatment services are medically essential, and the doctor will typically approve what type of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab providers. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual has to be in a hospital for issue, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in the Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they've got to self pay.
