TRICARE is health care insurance that's offered to individuals in the armed forces of the United States. Drug abuse inside the military is a lot more common than one would imagine, and the need to offer treatment to these individuals is a vital priority. If an inpatient center could be the preferred rehabilitation option, TRICARE covers twenty-one days or one inpatient stay in such a program per benefit period which is every 12 months. There are specific limits as to how long a TRICARE member can stay in an inpatient center that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30 to 45 day window which is covered. TRICARE also covers family therapy which is often very useful, as it may help include family members in the healing and process of recovery. No person in the military should struggle with this battle alone, and there are professional rehabilitation counselors waiting to help today.
