Medicare is a form of medical health insurance developed by the federal government for older folks, along with people who have specific disabilities and diseases. When someone who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The only real catch is, the individual will need to acquire treatment coming from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to start rehab, they can also get to see their doctor who must state that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will typically approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual has to be hospitalized for their problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
