Medicare is a form of health care insurance created by the U.S. government for seniors, along with individuals with specific disabilities and illnesses. When someone that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The one catch is, the person will need to obtain treatment from your alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to commence rehab, they will also have to visit their medical doctor who must state that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve which kind of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual needs to be hospitalized for issue, and also the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they'll have to self pay.
