Dual diagnosis rehabs are facilities which provide treatment to address both addiction and mental health issues concurrently. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral treatment that helps them develop more effective coping methods so that they are better able to handle life circumstances more proficiently once they leave dual diagnosis rehab as opposed to returning to drugs and alcohol as an inferior option.
