Medicare is a type of medical health insurance created by the U.S. government for older folks, along with people who have specific disabilities and diseases. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the person will need to obtain treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence treatment, they will also have to visit their physician who must declare that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve which kind of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehabilitation solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual has to be hospitalized for his or her problem, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they will have to self pay.
