Medicare is a form of medical insurance designed by the federal government for senior citizens, along with individuals with certain disabilities and sicknesses. If someone who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real catch is, the person must obtain treatment from the alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehab, they may also have to visit their primary care physician who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve which kind of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehab solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual has to be hospitalized for their issue, along with the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in the Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
