Treatment counselors in the LGBT rehab will help clients mend relationships with their family members, in the event their family disagree with their sexual choice as is usually the case. This situation is an extremely common trigger for drug use, and is an example of an issue that could be resolved in rehabilitation. LGBT clients often would like to be accepted in their lives, and treatment will help them accept themselves and build confidence to be able to lead a wholesome life free from drugs and alcohol.
