Medicaid is a health insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government funded insurance. Whether a person is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only determined by income however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify simply because they earn a good income. For instance, people who have a lot of dependents may be entitled to Medicaid regardless of whether they make what can be considered a reasonable income.
